Nevada… What can you say about it? Just pick up the first thought out of the top of your mind. Vegas? Yeah, it would be the first for sure. City of neon lights, casinos, shows, and huge margaritas. Desert landscapes? Ok, that’s definitely true. Las Vegas is a unique city – a city โ€‹โ€‹of overwhelming life in the middle of the almost dead desert area. Maybe Zone 51 and aliens? True fans of The X-Files will have that association and will also be right! Nevada can be called an alien’s home. Who knows maybe they also like gambling.

And besides that, there’s much more. A lot of interesting parks like Red Rock Canyon, Valley of Fire, Death Valley, and many others. Primarily they are deserty and rocky but there’re also some hidden gems like Pahranagat park – a beautiful oasis and shelter to thousands of migrating birds.

You can also find many interesting ghost towns once bloomed in the past and now waiting for visitors to tell their stories. Take a drive on scenic highway 50 also called The Loneliest Road and unravel its legends!

Another chapter in Nevada that must be mentioned to any visitor is its unique and often pretty strange art. Because of its huge and not overpopulated lands, Nevada attracted artists from around the whole world for many years. That’s why Nevada is most likely the state โ„–1 by the concentration of open-air art installations and odd museums.
